Thank you for transforming my granite countertop nightmare into my dream kitchen.
If I would have found your company first, I could have saved myself a lot of time and misery. The initial company that I contacted to install the countertops didn’t even come close to the standards that are set by your company. I’ve actually had the opportunity of watching experienced installers and then installers that definitely don’t have the expertise that your men possess. Even after explaining to the first company that the cabinets were not level, they proceeded to install the countertops; and before they left the house, the countertop cracked by the sink in two places. The owner cam and did make them take it out and a second was ordered.
Just to make ourselves perfectly clear that there was a problem that the cabinets were not level, we drew a chalk line on the wall to illustrate that both ends of the cabinets were lower in the middle point where the sink should be. The installers did not heed the warning the second time and the granite countertop cracked a second time. There were many other things that went wrong with the installation; like chipping the remaining granite that was attached to the granite that was replaced; cutting the granite short so that it did not cover the cabinets completely and then there were also cabinets that were scratched.
Your installers took extra measure to make sure that the countertops would be level, placing several shims in strategic places. Their quality work and expertise was evident after watching the first crew from the other company. Reinforcing the area around the sink with the steel rods did give me a feeling of confidence that this time the job would be done correctly.
I do appreciate the fact that you knew the nightmare I had experienced with the first company and made the extra effort to come to inspect the work and put a level on almost every inch of the countertop to insure that it was indeed level this time.
I have recommended your services to many of my friends. If there is anyone out there that is considering hiring another company due to a cheaper price, I would urge them to reconsider and save themselves the aggravation that I endured; not to mention being without a kitchen sink or countertops for over a month.

Customer Watson was one such job, that just seemed to be “challenged” right from the beginning. Recently I purchased granite countertops and a tumbled marble backsplash from Gage’s Granite. I found the perfect stone and they turned it into beautiful kitchen countertops for my kitchen.

First, let me say it is not often that I do this. Not that I don’t wish to…I just don’t have much occasion to (which is really a shame when one considers how many people you come in contact with on a daily basis). Coming from someone who is a firm believer in great service, I have to voice a comment on your employees…specifically “Marco.”
I have always believed that you can acquire the same product, provide equal quality, meet a competitor’s pricing….but “customer service” will ALWAYS set you apart (good or bad)! It will either make or break your business.
Now having said that, let me share with you what Marco did for us:
#1 Initially, he drove to our investment property in Flower Mound and took measurements for the purpose of a quote (via “The Great Indoors”).
#2 He did not get our business (nothing to do with him, we received a better quote through a vendor that I personally work with).
#3 He showed great concern for us when we experienced a problem with that vendor upon installation (seam issue).
#4 He invited us to his showroom to compare workmanship (where we met with Mike… whom I might add, also provided good service while knowing that I was not a buying party).
#5 He communicated with both my husband an myself several times during this process, and then…
#6 HE CAME TO OUR HOUSE AGAIN IN FLOWER MOUND, AT NO COST TO US, TO TRY AND SAVE US SOME MONEY BEFORE WE CONTACTED THE ‘ROCK DOCTOR” FOR POSSIBLE HELP.
#7 In the end, his professional opinion resolved the issue (not only saving us money, but saving me great face at work)!! Providing this kind of service to someone that IS your customer and one you have profited from, is one thing. Volunteering this kind of service to someone THAT IS NOT EVEN YOUR CUSTOMER….is quite another!!! It is my opinion that employees like that are few and far between and a great asset to your company.
What else can I say about service like that, except… I don’t know what you are paying him, but whatever it is…it’s not enough!!!
